Gulaba View Point is one of the top picnic spots and viewpoints in Manali. It’s in the beautiful Gulaba village on the way to Rohtang Pass.

Gulaba View Point Timings and Entry Fees

Although Gulaba View Point is accessible throughout the day, the ideal hours to visit it are between 8 AM to 5 PM. It’s open for visitors all around the year, even when the Rohtang pass is closed. You don’t need any entry fee to get to the viewpoint. The adventure activities around are charged separately.

Best time to visit Gulaba Viewpoint

It’s best to visit Gulaba viewpoint in the winter months, November to February. The drive to the viewpoint, as well as the views, is mesmerising. Winter is also the best season for playing in the snowy landscape. The months of March and April, too, are ideal for the visit.

You can spend about an hour at the viewpoint. You’ll need a full day, though, to enjoy the different activities available in Gulaba village and the surrounding areas.

How to reach Gulaba View Point?

Gulaba view point is in Gulaba village, on Leh-Manali highway, about 12 km from Manali town. It’s close to Solang valley’s adventure spot. Solang valley to Gulaba distance is only 3 km.

Manali is the nearest bus stand to Gulaba. The nearest railway station is in Kalka, 290 km away, and the airport in Kullu (Bhuntar Airport) is the closest. It’s 62 km away. And the nearest international airport is in Chandigarh (324 km away).

By motorbikes – Rental motorbikes are available in Manali. You can hire them and take them around for a ride to Gulaba. It should take you only about half an hour from Manali by bike.

By taxis/cabs – Private cabs and taxis are also available for a comfortable trip to Gulaba. You can book them for the entire day from top car rental companies in Manali and enjoy the trip. Depending on the weather conditions, you might need to take a jeep, though, from Gulaba to the viewpoint.
