According to legends, during his exile, Arjun meditated and worshipped Lord Indra for years inside the cave. Impressed with Arjun’s dedication, Lord Indra awarded him the Pashupata Astra. The Pasupata Astra was one of the most powerful weapons. Arjun only possessed it. No warrior on earth was powerful enough to use the Astra.
